Hello! My name is Joshua Berweiler. I am an avid Graphic Designer residing in Eatontown, New Jersey. I studied Graphic Design at Monmouth University in West Long Branch from 2017-2020, graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA), and have been a creative professional for around 2-3 years now. After a few years rotating around various internships I finally got my break into the workforce at Empire Auto Protect. With that experience under the belt, I am actively looking for the next opportunity to stretch my creative wings in the graphic design work environment.
I had first became interested in design and art in general when I was a child and had created a painting of a rainbow. From that point my love and passion for making art was established and began to grow and flourish. This leads me to pick up sketching as a regular hobby and I usually liked making drawings inspired by characters and subjects from media I enjoy. Once I got introduced to programs such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign during college. I began to understand the finer intricacies of graphic design and the act of creating digital works on a computer. Then after I completed my on-campus independent study, my path to the graphic design workforce was decided. I aim to have a position where I'm able to create works that help with advertising while still allowing me to exercise my creativity.
Apart from doing graphic design work I like to spend time learning new graphic design techniques and keeping current with design trends. For activities outside of graphic design, I typically enjoy playing video games, going out to the movies, and going bowling with friends.
My passion for art and creativity is as strong as ever, and I look forward to the chance to evolve my skillset further!
